One of the subsidiaries of the UNIFI group of companies, the Ameritas Insurance Company has its origins from all the way back to 1887 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The company’s first started with the name Old Line Bankers Life Insurance Company of Nebraska (or Bankers Life for short). It was only in the year 1988 that Bankers Life decided to change its name into Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. The reason for the change was for the purpose of focusing on its ever increasing product line and nationwide scope.

Ameritas Life Insurance Group has a wide range of products which includes retirement plans, life insurance, annuities, eye and hearing care, dental group coverage, public finance as well as other investment products.

Drawing from its parent company’s vision of offering protection and enhancement of financial security and improving the lives and finances and businesses  of the people by providing safe and secured investment through its products and services.
