The Security Co. of Hartford Insurance Company was established and incorporated on October 14, 1908 in Florida. The Company first operated as a subsidiary of Royal & Sun Alliance USA, Inc. until it was acquired by its own senior management and outside directors after it suffered from continuous downsizing when the business was considered no longer profitable. The Company was then renamed Arrowpoint Capital Corporation in 2007. Arrowpoint Capital Corporation is a recently formed Delaware company managed, owned and run by former Royal & Sun Alliance USA senior management and Board of Directors.

Arrowpoint Capital Insurance is located and headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. The company continues to offer individual and commercial property/casualty coverage under the Royal Care brand. Arrowpoint Capital offers a wide range of insurance products that includes inland marine, aircraft liability, auto physical damage, auto liability, boiler and machinery, ocean marine, rain, hail, burglary and theft, health forgery, fire, air physical damage and employer’s liability insurance among others.

Arrowpoint Capital continues its focus based on the operational objectives set forth by Royal & Sun Alliance USA. The Company believes that despite the changes in its name and ownership, the level of commitment remains the same. Arrowpoint Capital operates their business through two risk-bearing companies: Arrowood Indemnity Company and Arrowood Surplus Lines Insurance Company.

John Tighe is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Arrowpoint Capital Corporation. Dennis Cahill is the Company’s Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for all business support functions as well as the Legal and Regulatory Information systems within the company. Julie Fortune serves as the Chief Claim Officer responsible for the implementation of litigation management strategies and claims stabilization. Andre Lefebvre is the Financial Risk Officer. He leads the Company’s Capital’s Risk Office and is responsible for actuarial and reinsurance collections. Sean Beatty is the Chief Financial Officer. He oversees all financial aspects of the Company including investments, accounting, taxation, reports, accounts payable, treasury, and statistical and data management. Jim Meehan is General Counsel overseeing the Company’s Legal & Regulatory Division.

Bob Dixon serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer whose main responsibilities include compensation and benefits, payroll, corporate and field office human resources and general employee services. David Payseur is the Chief Auditor while Cathy Carlino serves as Corporate Operations, Planning & Governance Executive responsible for Corporate Communications and Internal Audit. The Chief Actuary is Dan Keddie responsible for the management of the Charlotte Reinsurance Team. Dave Davenport serves as Controller. With over 25 years of CPA experience, he oversees financial compliance, statistical and reinsurance reporting, general ledge control and taxation. Dave Shumway is the Company’s Chief Investment Officer responsible for all facets of asset and liability investment management.
